What is the Women’s Forum?

The purpose of the Women’s Forum is to provide an opportunity where women come together to share in life experiences and learn new techniques for living. Entertaining and educational workshops are given in the areas of personal growth, home and family, health, and finances.

This is the eleventh annual forum and it will take place on September 12, 2009. The events of the day include a keynote speaker, break-out workshops, and lunch. Emily Nelson, Mrs. Utah, 2008, will be the keynote speaker. She will address the theme, "Step Into Life".

When and Where is the forum?

Saturday, September 12, from 8:00a.m. – 300p.m. The keynote address will be at the Kanab High School. The workshops and luncheon will be next door at the Kanab Middle School. The schools are located about 1 mile south from downtown Kanab off State Highway 89A.

Who is the keynote speaker?

Is the forum affiliated with a certain religion?

No. The forum is a multi-community event sponsored by Kane County Hospital, Kane County Travel Council, Kanab City, Fredonia Town, and Orderville Town.

What is the cost of the forum?

The cost of the forum is $18 for pre-registration and $20 at the door. This fee is non-refundable and includes participation in 5 workshops, snacks, a luncheon, and the keynote address.

What workshops are being offered?

Choosing from 15 topics, participants will be able to attend 5 workshops. These workshops will focus on topics in the four areas of personal growth, home and family, health, and finances. The workshops will include classes on marriage, increasing energy and good health, Savvy consumer tips, and many more. A complete list can be viewed by clicking on the classes button on the left.

Women will select from the different workshops on the day of the forum.

What is the menu for the luncheon?

Taco salad, roll, orange cake, & water.
